What’s Functional Nutrition?

In Functional Nutrition, we look for the root cause of disease instead of treating symptoms. We search for the WHY.

Discover The Root Cause

In Functional Nutrition and Functional Medicine, we look for the root cause of disease instead of treating symptoms. We search for the WHY.

The body is interconnected, and imbalances in one area, such as a leaky gut or blood sugar dysregulation, affect remote body parts and your overall immunity. The guiding concept of functional nutrition is identifying the causative factors that lead to poor health and disease.

My clinical practice is based on the latest science and includes functional diagnostic testing to identify physiological imbalances.

Once we understand the cause of an imbalance, we can present an individualized treatment plan, which will help the body rebalance and restore function.

Fixing your gut and digestive issues, prioritizing sleep, reducing stress and inflammation, and removing trigger foods are all part of a holistic approach to well-being. We also look into nutrient imbalances and make specific recommendations to correct them.

Let’s work together to strengthen your body’s own capacity to heal from the inside.

Conventional Medicine

Focus on treating symptoms.
Prioritizes medication.
